Privacy Policy

Private by default. Here's how we protect your family's information.

Who we are

YOU Life Plan is the brand name for services provided by Life Continuity Hub, LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through youlifeplan.com and the YOU Life Plan app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, and sign-in details. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.

Plan information you choose to add: notes about your family, trusted contacts, records in each planning category, checklists, and documents you upload to the Document Vault.

Consultation requests: name, email, optional phone number, and what you'd like to discuss.

Technical information: basic device, browser, and usage data needed to keep the service secure and working.

How we use it

To provide your plan, keep it in sync across your devices, and show your readiness and next steps.

To schedule and support consultations with participating licensed attorneys.

To protect accounts, prevent misuse, and keep a history of important account activity.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the contents of your plan for advertising.

Personalized checklists

When you create a Personalized Checklist, the concern you describe and the names and readiness of your planning categories are sent to an AI model to draft suggested steps. Record details, contact names, and documents are not sent.

Who can see your information

Your plan is private by default. Only members of your household you've invited can see shared household information, and nothing is shared with anyone else unless you explicitly grant access.

Attorneys see consultation request details you submit. We use trusted service providers (hosting, storage, email, AI) who process data only on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law.

How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Uploaded documents are stored privately and opened only through short-lived secure links. Access rules are enforced on our servers, not just in the app.

You can turn on two-step sign-in and sign out other devices from the Security Center. We do not store passwords, PINs, or recovery codes for your other accounts in ordinary records.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your information while your account is active. If a subscription lapses, your plan becomes read-only rather than being deleted. You may request a copy or deletion of your information at any time by contacting us; some records may be retained where the law requires.

Your choices

You can view, edit, or remove most information directly in the app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your data, or to object to certain processing.

Children

YOU Life Plan is intended for adults. You may record information about your children as part of your plan, but children should not create accounts.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will note the date below. For privacy questions or requests, contact us through the Legal Support page.
